Mariachi Sin Fronteras

The mariachi music has been declared by UNESCO in November 2011, an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The mariachi music is one of the most representative element of the mexican culture. Since its origin in the state of Jalisco, Mexico, it has been a way to express happiness, sadness, joy or angry.  

"Sin Fronteras” = “No Borders" is more than just our name — it's our philosophy. As a band made up of members from different nationalities (Slovakia, Mexico, Ukraine, Panama) , we celebrate the power of mariachi music to unite across cultures, languages, and backgrounds. We stand for diversity, inclusion, and mutual respect, believing that creativity thrives when everyone has a voice. Our music carries this spirit, breaking down walls and building bridges .

Based in Bratislava, Slovakia since 2006 , with important milestones as the three time participation in the famous International Mariachi Festival in Guadalajara, Mexico (2006, 2008, 2010) and the  grant received from the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic(2008)  have been a big impulse and engine for our musical activities.

This  “Encuentro Internacional del Mariachi in Guadalajara” , Mexico is undoubtedly a very important event for any mariachi  group willing to develop and dive into this type of music. It represents an incomparable platform to exchange experiences, to learn in the workshops, to receive warm aplauses from people who feel proud that the mariachi music is being spread all over the world as part of the rich mexican culture. 


And we are here in Europe to give your event the authentic Mexican flavor!
